Like every year, GID Club commemorated Valentine’s Day by delighting the deprived. Christened as ‘Love Abound 2013’, this years event was a fashion fiesta which fantastically blended the GIDF school kids with flamboyant & fanatic students from IIPM, New Delhi. 40 children from GIDF were exclusively invited for an elegant & eloquent event of fashion show competition, where the essential emphasis was on showcasing the essence of friendship & feelings. The graceful & gorgeous show became even more glamorous, when the five participating teams gave importance to impressive themes of managing love; like ‘Valentine’s week, friendship, adoption, cupid & deprived’. In a management institute, managing can be nicely taught through this sort of an event as it involves multiple challenges like marketing the show, dressing the children and managing them etc. The winners were the team that added oodles of oomph to the show through perfect music, props, story line & off course promotion. Coined as ‘Babel’, the winning team comprised of Ashish Pande, Abhijeet Anand, Kirti Saxena, Mikesh Gupta, Ravish Taneja from Fall 2011-13 batch. The team that generated maximum funds for the show was Monalisa Bose, Gaurav Tokas, Pankil Singhal, Shristhi Grover & Ankeeta Singj from FU1.
