• Joy fest celebration in Ahmedabad
The JOY OF THE GIVING WEEK was celebrated amongst the children with great gusto and zeal. The IIPM students came together to support the cause. Keeping in mind the educational empowerment of disadvantaged children, we decided not to involve any monetary contribution. Hence, the donations came in kinds of educational toys, stationary etc.
The IIPM students divided them in three groups and visited the communities and practiced and prepared a programme with cultural dances, songs, plays etc.
A total of 80 children participated in the programme. The IIPM children came up with posters and appealing conversations and mouth campaign to mobilize gifts for the children of the learning centers.
• Exposure visit of the IIPM students to Mangal Talav Center
This visit resulted in a list of effective and enthusiastic students who were interested in the voluntary programmes of the center.
A visit was planned for the students of IIPM as a part of their course curriculum. A group of 30 students visited the community to get sense of community service. They were briefed about the foundation and were told in detail about the various programmes and activities.
The students came up with brilliant voluntary ideas and showed interest for supporting the children of the center. They also conversed with the staff and the parents of the children and came up with bright solutions of the problems they faced. |
